Northern Virginia Real Estate: Can I Sell My Home As Is?

Can I sell my house as-is?

That’s the kind of question that I get from about a third of the sellers that I worked with and to answer that question, I said “sure”.

You can absolutely sell your home as it is, however, depending on what’s going on with the marketplace, you’re mostly gonna have maybe a different offer.

So, one of the things that you may have fewer offers. Because of homebuyers coming in, and they’re not able to get the home in good repair, they’re gonna most likely negotiate that down with the price that they are gonna pay less.

One of the good strategies that we’ve seen is to allow a buyer to come in with a home inspection, for informational purposes only.

What this does is to allow for them to come in and protect their interests, give you a really short window on how long you get the inspection, like three days after ratification, means after you guys agree to sell and then at the end of that three days that you said YES or NO.

So, that’s the way that we can sell as it is, we can’t be able to do so in a manner that we can get you to the highest price, highest profit or the most money in your pocket with the least hassle.
