What's Bugging You?

I've been helping homebuyers since 2007 and told them, "yes, you should get a home inspection."

Now, depending on what's going on in the marketplace, you may have to write an offer in a very competitive market that the competitors, meaning - the other buyers, are waiving, you know, contingencies such as home inspections.

If you're in the same situation, you may consider a home inspection for informational purposes.

Please watch this video as your resource.

if you're getting your house ready for sale, that's a whole different story.

I have prepared this resource just for you. Please watch it.

Here are some tips and tricks to avoid those insects and pests.

#1 Clean your kitchen

I know that seems far-fetched, right?
We have that big dinner, and we throw everything into the sink. Pests are attracted to those tidbits of morsel.

#2 Standing water

That's something you don't want on your property. That's going to attract the mosquitoes. Cover your water containers.

#3 Put the food in the fridge

You may want to consider putting your fruits and veggies in your refrigerator rather than just leaving them on your countertop.

I think that's where those fruit flies came from when we looked at them the other day.

#4 Properly dispose your leftover food

Another thing is meat. Often, people will take morsels of meat after you're done eating and throw it in a trash bag, and put the trash back in the garage.

That meat attracts those nasty critters, and we want to avoid that.

#5 Call for pest control

You may want to consider getting a pest contractor to come in and spray your home and maintain it.

I'm happy to introduce you to buddy if you need a connection, and that's ultimately the best thing to consider.

So hopefully, these little nuggets of wisdom are helpful for you.
