I want to tell you what you need to do to be able to get your loan. If you want to get your loan, first thing that you’re going to do is present the following:
1. Your proof of income – you gotta be able to prove that you have a job or at least you got an income. What is your income and do you have a proof of that? Typically they will ask couple weeks of your pay stubs and they will ask you for at least 2 years of tax returns. So if you haven’t filed your taxes last year, you should go ahead and file those now. You can talk to your CPA or or whoever prepares your taxes for you or if you do it yourself because it going to make the whole process easier for you.
Even if you think you can’t do this now, maybe you can.
2. Your proof of assets –what are your assets and what are your liabilities? If you have a credit card debt, you need to figure out all those balances but don’t do anything with your credit card debt until you talk to the lender because if you pay it off it may affect your credit in an unexpected manner.
3. You should have a good credit – if you don’t have a good credit right now, no worries, we’ll help you get that credit well. Typically, most lenders look for 620 credit score or better to get a conventional financing then 580 or better for an FHA loan. There are certain loan programs that differ from one another. If you are unsure we can help you out, give us a call.
4. Your proof of identity – get all your verification ready such as your SS Number, Driver’s License.
Even if you think you can’t do this now, maybe you can. Give us a call, we are here to help.
If you have more questions about getting approval for your home loan, feel free to give me a call or send me an email. I’d love to speak with you.
