Great Ways Your Real Estate Agent Can Best Help You

What are some ways your real estate agent can help you?

Please watch this video as a great resource for you.

Real Estate Training

#1 A great real estate agent will communicate with you throughout the process.

You may need to be made aware of some things, not because they need to be more transparent with you but because it's their job to be so.

#2 He can be considered as your quarterback

He will organize everything and sort things out for you to make the transaction as seamless as possible.

What does a quarterback do?

He's the guy that throws the ball.

A good agent can be considered like the guy that runs the team. He will not just guide you down the pathway but also other people, such as lenders, title people, insurance people, and home inspectors.

There may be additional inspectors that may be a part of the process. Within the title company, when you're getting ready to go to closing, there will be many different roles, even within each of those areas. And that would be many names! 😖 You get the drift. 😁

#3 When you hire the right agent, he will help you alleviate stress so that you never have to.

Well, who wants no stress when you buy?

It's the fear of the unknown that causes anxiety. So, if you're feeling some pressure or apprehension, I want to assure you that you are entirely normal.

#4 Gain rapport with you so that they can connect with you.

A great agent knows when to ask intelligent, adept questions to understand your needs, desires, goals, challenges, and fears.

Then they should be able to guide you through the process - to make you understand that different people will all be a part of this deal.

#5 They're going to help you with the housing search.

If they're an experienced agent, they can tell you some things that are not easily seen.

Uhm. Not those unseen kinds of things. I can almost see the cogs in your brain working. I meant they're not sharing their opinion with you.👻👽

Instead, they share facts that can help you understand things you may not know.

Now, does a real estate agent know everything?

Of course NOT!

They're not going to be able to tell you everything, something you should be aware of, which is why you'll want to do your due diligence - to protect yourself. It's more of a partnership.

#6 A great negotiator.

I've taken years to perfect myself, to educate myself to get classical training on negotiating all the different negotiating techniques, and then in the field.

It's not just getting a formal education on negotiation but also time on task and understanding. When I communicate in this manner, I can get an agreement.

Ultimately, what you're looking for from your negotiator is for your agent to understand your goals and your needs. And they help you to achieve that.

#7 They don't go and don't take their values and put them in the forefront.

I should seek to understand what is best for you, my prospective client - that's my belief. And that's for you to tell me and for me to listen actively and understand.

Then I understood that my job is as a professional negotiator to pair up all the other parties within the transaction so we can get to a win for everybody involved.
