Woodbridge, Virginia Real Estate: Bad News for a Short Sale Seller

Recently, I’ve got bad news from the client that has approached me a year ago.

At that time, she approached me and she was two years behind on her mortgage and I advised her that it would be a good idea to either negotiate with the bank to come up with a resolution or do a short sale.

Six months after that we were still further in negotiating with the bank and she was doing that on her own.

Now, at this point, she’s two and a half years late on her mortgage and so I said to her that she needs to do the short sale now, she ended up not doing it.

So, last week, she got her property foreclosed, right now she’s still living there and anytime soon she’ll get notice of eviction.

This is a sample scenario when negotiating with a bank by yourself or not really willing to face reality.

If you’re in a situation right now, if you are many years or months behind with your mortgage. Or even if you’re not.
